Howard Herman, M.D
Dr. Howard Herman received his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Postgraduate training included an internship in General Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Herman is a pioneer in minimally invasive management of chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction and allergies, and utilizes the most advanced technologies to optimize patient results. He has published book chapters, surgical manuals, and research articles in his field and regularly teaches surgical courses for Medtronic and Johnson & Johnson. He is double board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and in Sleep Medicine. He has been practicing with ENT of Georgia since 1993.
Dr. Herman has special training and experience in the latest therapies to manage nasal obstruction and sinus problems. Most patients are effectively managed with non-surgical therapies. Young H. An, M.D
Dr. Young H. An received his medical degree with honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University in June 2005. He is double board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. An specializes in minimally invasive management of chronic sinusitis and nasal obstruction, and serves as a speaker and instructor for surgeons across the country in office-based Balloon Sinuplasty. Danko Cerenko, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Danko Cerenko is a former Emory professor trained in neurotology, and sub-specializes in balance therapy and corrective surgery. He received his MD and PhD degrees from Zagreb University in Croatia and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University. Dr. Cerenko also completed a fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, Skull Base Surgery at Zuerich University in Switzerland.
He speaks seven foreign languages: German, Croatian, Bosnian, Slovenian, Serbian, Hungarian and Italian.
In addition to seeing patients at Sinus Center of Atlanta, Dr. Cerenko oversees the Atlanta Hearing Institute, a center that specializes in vertigo and balance problems using a multi-disciplined approach of medicine, physical therapy and audiological feedback.
